Jorge Lasheras

Jorge Lasheras is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a career spanning over a decade, currently employed at BlockTech B.V. since February 2022. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Uber from February 2018 to May 2021, TomTom from November 2014 to January 2018, and Oracle from January 2010 to September 2014, where contributions were made to the Match Engine team for Oracle|RightNow's NLP-based solution, Intent Guide. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at Océ Technologies and Topic Embedded Systems. Jorge holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Ramon Llull and completed a Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation in Artificial Intelligence at Udacity in 2017. Further educational pursuits at the University of Oxford have also been undertaken.
