Swaroop Hegde

Swaroop Hegde is a co-founder and CEO of PowerLoom, Inc. since September 2020. Prior to that, they were a co-founder and CEO of BlockVigil starting from January 2018. Swaroop also worked as an advisor at SpringRole Inc. since September 2017 and WedMeGood since 2014. In 2017, they served as a senior software engineering consultant at Evensi, where they built a fast search engine, integrated Eventbrite, and created a custom CDN. Swaroop was the director of product management at Unikrn from September 2015 to April 2016. Swaroop was also the co-founder and CEO of Dotaprohub, an esports company specializing in analytics for Dota 2, before it was acquired by Unikrn. Prior to that, Swaroop was the co-founder and CEO of Atticous from 2011 to 2015, and they co-founded and served as the CTO of Planga from 2010 to 2012. Swaroop started their career as a co-founder of Racked Hosting LLC in 2006, where they held various roles including director and was responsible for software development, finance, customer support, and server administration.

Swaroop Hegde pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in E&C/CS from Manipal Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008.
