Dr. Jan Brinckmann

Dr. Jan Brinckmann has extensive work experience in the field of entrepreneurship. Dr. Jan began their career in 2009 as a Full Professor at ESADE, where they focused on entrepreneurship. In 2013, they became a Visiting Professor/Lecturer of Lean Startup & Lean Venturing at the University of St. Gallen - HSG. In 2015, they developed the Founder's Academy/Startup School for the Founder's Foundation gGmbH. In 2017, they joined Valuedesk\u00ae as a Member Board of Directors & Business Angel. Dr. Jan also served as a Business Angel and Board Member for aklamio.com in 2012 and Pridatect in 2018. In 2019, they became a Supporter and Business Angel for Bloobirds, Evermood, and ModelManagement.com. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Softonic as a Member Board of Directors.

Dr. Jan Brinckmann completed a Diplom Oec. at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 1996 to 2002. Dr. Jan then pursued a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship at Technische Universität Berlin from 2002 to 2006. In 1999 and 2000, they completed an Erasmus at Universidad de Zaragoza in the fields of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. In 2010, they attended Harvard Business School for a Postgraduate in the European Entrepreneurship Colloquium. In 2011, they also attended Harvard Business School for a Postgraduate in the Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning.
