Shannon Billings

Shannon Billings has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2010, Shannon worked as a Medical Technologist at Providence Alaska Medical Center until 2017. From 2015 to 2017, Shannon served as a Sendouts Supervisor at Alaska Regional Hospital. Shannon then moved on to be a Laboratory Manager at The Valley Health System from 2017 to 2019. Following that, Shannon held the role of chemistry laboratory manager at Total Renal Labs Inc until 2020. Most recently, Shannon has been working as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Yukon Kuskokwin Health Corp and currently holds the position of Director of Laboratory Services at Blood Bank of Alaska since February 2022.

Shannon Billings completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in medical laboratory science from the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2007 to 2010. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Shannon pursued a Master's degree in medical laboratory management and specialized in blood banking at Rush University.
