Maxime Hedou has a diverse work experience with positions in various companies and organizations. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Technician for France Location during the Tour de France. In 2018, they participated in a summer course at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, focusing on 3D-BioPrinting techniques and Biocomposites. At the same time, they also worked as a Production Worker at Agrochanvre, where they resolved issues related to the production line and gained experience in fiber processing. In 2018, Maxime became the President and co-founder of the association AP3B, promoting biomaterials and organizing conferences and trade shows. In 2019, they worked as an Assistant Engineer at Bloom Biorenewables, conducting research on lignocellulosic biomass and performing analysis using HPLC, NMR, MALDI-TOF, and DSC techniques. This experience was followed by a traineeship at Nestlé Research Center - Institute of Packaging Sciences in 2020, where they developed food packaging and gained project management skills. In the same year, they became the Head of Materials at Bloom Biorenewables. Maxime is currently a PhD Candidate in materials chemistry at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and HEIA-FR, specializing in sustainable and catalytic processing.
Maxime Hedou pursued their education chronologically, beginning in 2015 at Lycée Victor Hugo Caen. There, they completed a Prépa aux grandes écoles - PCSI program from 2015 to 2017. Following this, from 2017 to 2020, Maxime attended Grenoble INP-Pagora, earning a degree in Engineering of Fiber and Biomaterials. In 2019, they also had the opportunity to study at Aalto University, where they specialized in Biochemical Engineering until 2020.
