Jim Checkeye

Jim Checkeye has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the combustion systems field. Currently, Jim serves in the Non-Ferrous Process Group at Bloom Engineering Company since April 2003. Previously, Jim held the position of Combustion and Process Control Engineer at Fives North American Combustion, Inc. from September 1997 to September 2002, focusing on the engineering and sales of industrial combustion systems and preparing technical proposals and presentations. Jim's career began at Alcoa, where from December 1989 to September 1997, responsibilities included project management and ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards in the design and installation of combustion control systems. Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology, obtained between 1986 and 1989.
