Sean Duffy

Sean Duffy is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Deputy Vice Principal at Bloom World Academy since August 2023, where oversight of multiple departments, assessment strategies, and innovative teaching practices are key responsibilities. Previous roles include Leader of English and Advanced Practitioner at St Clare's Primary School and a long tenure as School Governor at the University of Essex. In addition, Sean held the position of Head of V16, overseeing sixth form provision across six educational institutions at the University of Essex and the Sigma Trust from June 2013 to September 2023. Furthermore, Sean contributed as an Expert Advisor at Young Writers UK from September 2018 to July 2023, providing critical feedback on educational materials. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Learning and Pastoral Leader at Clacton County High School from September 2015 to August 2020.
