Becky Bavinger

Becky Bavinger has extensive experience in nonprofit management and public health, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Destiny Reflection USA since May 2014. Bavinger has held a position in the Global Public Health Department at Bloomberg Philanthropies since August 2012 and previously worked as a Special Events Intern for Médecins Sans Frontières from August 2011 to April 2012, coordinating large-scale public events. As a co-founder and co-director of Destiny Reflection from January 2008 to July 2010, Bavinger played a key role in establishing a nonprofit organization in Kolkata, India, focused on training and employment for survivors of sex trafficking and sexual abuse. Additionally, Bavinger worked as the Director of Indian Programs for The Emancipation Network from May 2006 to July 2010, facilitating fair trade initiatives and awareness in the United States. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public and Nonprofit Management from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Government and Russian from Georgetown University.
