Eric Liu

Eric Liu is a skilled professional in computer science with extensive experience in security research and software development. Currently serving as CTO Security Researcher at Bloomberg since July 2023, Eric also held an internship as CTO Security Architecture Intern. Previous roles include Compiler Research Engineer at Huawei Technologies Canada, focusing on compiler optimization for AI accelerators, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, conducting platform security research. Eric's background includes positions in software development at various companies, such as OANDA and Finastra, where expertise in C++, Python, and .NET was applied. Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, Eric also holds a master’s degree from the same university and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo.
