Serkan Kirbas

Serkan Kirbas, PMP, PhD, is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in DevOps and software engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Lead for ESG Regulations and News Search at Bloomberg since August 2016, Serkan previously held the position of DevOps Team Lead at both National Grid and Accenture. An academic background includes a PhD in Software Engineering from Boğaziçi University and multiple degrees in Computer Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, with a strong emphasis on research as evidenced by a Visiting Researcher role at Brunel University London. Early career experience includes significant roles at Garanti Bank, Siemens Enterprise Communications in Austria, and METU SRDC.
