Alicia Chong R. is the Founder and CEO of Bloomer Tech. Alicia was previously with Singularity University as GSP15, a ten-week immersive learning program that accepts 80 participants from around the world to solve Global Grand Challenges with Exponential Technology. Alicia has also worked as an Electrical / Hardware Engineer with Hewlett Packard's Networking R&D Group in the ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) team. Alicia has also been with Ideas en Accion and TEDxPuraVidaJoven as Streaming Director, promoting accesability to the event and empowering Costa Rican Youth. These independent TEDx events are operated under license from TED.

Alicia Chong R. has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Engineering and Management/Integrated Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's in Electronic Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Alicia also has certification from Teradyne in ETS-364/600 Programming, Texas Instruments Semiconductor Technical Training in C6000 Embedded Design Workshop Using Bios, Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP), and IPC- Training and Certification Program-Teradyne de Costa Rica in IPC-7711A & IPC-7721A.
