Manuel Tönz

Manuel Tönz has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Manuel is currently serving as the Director of Client Strategy, EMEA at Bloomreach, where they advise clients on commerce experience strategies and helps define and execute the company's overall strategy. Prior to Bloomreach, Tönz worked as a Digital Experience Advisor at Bloomreach, where they implemented a unique combination of CMS, personalization, AI-driven search, and merchandising to enhance customer experience. Before joining Bloomreach, they worked as a Customer Experience Advisor at SAS from 2018 to 2021. Manuel also served as the Director of Customer Engagement Practice at ConVista Consulting from 2016 to 2018. Tönz gained valuable experience at SAP Hybris as the Lead Presales FSI EMEA & MEE and Senior Solution Engineer from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Sales & Account Manager/Presales Specialist at AIM Software, Business Development Manager at GARAIO AG and Finance Active, and Business Sales/Key Account Manager at Tempobrain AG. Tönz began their career as a Software Developer at highsystem ag and Mountain Vision AG.

Manuel Tönz began their education in 2000 at Informatikmittelschule Chur, where they obtained an Informatiker mit eidgenössischem Fähigkeitszeugnis. During their time at this school, they studied IT, Economics, Physics, English, and French. Manuel completed their studies at Informatikmittelschule Chur in 2004.

In 2008, Manuel obtained a certification in Certified Solution Sales from InterSalesPRO.

Manuel then pursued further education at FH Burgenland from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a focus on Economics, Finance, Controlling, and Russian.

Additionally, Manuel obtained certifications in various fields. In 2012, they completed the International Summer Course in Russian at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. The same year, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from TechTalk.
