Robert Yula has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Robert started their career in 2005 as a Writer/Co-director for the short film "Shopping in the Afterlife." In 2006, they produced the short film "Cut Out," which featured Al Martino and Robert Funaro.
In 2008, Robert worked as a Screenwriter for the spec script "Whistler," which was a finalist for the Red Planet Prize in 2010. Robert also served as an Associate Producer for the documentary "Persona Frank Grata" in 2009.
From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Screenwriter for Aardman Animations, where they wrote two drafts of a children's animated film. In 2013, they adapted Hallgrimur Helgason's novel into a screenplay titled "The Hitman's Guide to Housecleaning" and is currently in development.
Robert joined Uncle Steve's Italian Specialties in 2014 as the Director of Digital Marketing, overseeing SEO, social media management, ad buys, and copywriting. Robert then joined Show-Score.com in 2015 as a Digital Marketing Specialist & Member Acquisitions, focusing on member acquisition and engagement through national marketing campaigns.
In 2019, Robert joined Dotdigital as an Online Marketing Executive, responsible for data-driven analysis to inform marketing strategy. Robert later became a Marketing Business Analyst, partnering with key stakeholders to answer critical business questions.
Currently, Robert is working at Bloomreach as a Senior Global Campaign Manager, utilizing their expertise in campaign management and global marketing initiatives.
Robert Yula completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Screenwriting from The University of the Arts between 1997 and 2001. Robert further pursued higher education by earning a Master's degree in Scriptwriting from Goldsmiths, University of London, during the period of 2003 to 2004.
