Viliam Rockai

Viliam Rockai has a strong background in software engineering, with extensive experience in front-end development, deployment, and quality assurance. Viliam currently works at Bloomreach as a Component Owner and Frontend Engineer, leading a team responsible for the development of the Exponea JavaScript SDK. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Front-end Engineer at DNAstack, where they built complex single-page applications in the field of genomics and automated frontend/backend deployment processes. Viliam also worked at Red Hat as a Software Engineer and QA Engineer, contributing to projects such as JBoss Portal and GateIn, where they focused on automated UI and performance testing. Before that, they worked at Acision as a Software Engineer, gaining experience in agile programming and test-driven development. Viliam'scareer began at Siemens PSE, where they worked as an IT Developer, specializing in the development and maintenance of a custom Eigner-PLM product reliant on an Oracle database.

Viliam Rockai completed their education at the Technical University of Košice. Viliam obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Artificial Intelligence and Cybernetics from 2000 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence from 2005 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Viliam Rockai has obtained several certifications. Viliam completed the "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Genomic Data Science with Galaxy," "Introduction to Genomic Technologies," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" courses from Coursera in 2017 and 2018. Furthermore, they completed the "JBoss Certified Application Administrator" certification from Red Hat in 2012.
