Helen Upton

Helen Upton has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Helen currently holds the position of Acting Deputy Head of Publicity at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Publicity Manager at HarperCollins Publishers from September 2018 to March 2023. Helen also served as a Senior Press Officer at Simon & Schuster UK from June 2017 to September 2018. Helen'searlier roles include Press Officer at Little, Brown Book Group from January 2016 to June 2017, and Publicity Assistant at the same company from April 2014 to December 2015.

Helen Upton attended City, University of London from 2010 to 2013 where they studied Journalism. In 2012, they participated in an exchange program at Hong Kong Baptist University, focusing on Chinese and Asian Film Studies. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels at Dover Grammar School for Girls from 2002 to 2009, majoring in English Literature (A), History (A), French (B), and Psychology (B).
