Zhenping Wang

Zhenping Wang is a Senior Scientist at BlossomHill Therapeutics, Inc. since March 2022, with prior experience as a Scientist at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., focusing on CAR-T cell anti-tumor studies. Zhenping led projects on innate immunity, mast cells, and cancer as an Associate Project Scientist at UC San Diego, where roles also included investigating mechanisms in melanoma immunity and skin infection defenses. Previous postdoctoral research involved immunology, particularly related to mast cells and microbial invasion. Zhenping's early career included a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Centre of Singapore and a scientific editor role at the Shanghai Institute of Biological Sciences. Zhenping holds a Bachelor's degree from Peking University Health Science Center, a Master's from Fudan University, a Ph.D. in Immunology from Chongqing University, and completed postdoctoral training at UC San Diego.
