Brian Washington

Brian Washington has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Brian has worked as a Product Manager at BloxStaking, leading the development of digital assets. At heymeta®, they served as a Product Consultant and contributed to the launch of next-generation digital assets for various companies.

Prior to that, Brian worked at Washington Communications where they were a Web3 Consultant, spearheading product strategy and execution for multiple crypto companies. Brian also served as the Owner of Washington Communications during this time.

As a Co-Founder of the KNOW Foundation, Brian was involved in building the foundation of the decentralized metaverse and securing strategic sales with a top cryptocurrency company.

Brian's previous roles include Web3 Product Manager at Touchcast and Product Manager at Wix.com, where they focused on web3 technologies, user engagement, and blockchain features. Brian also worked as the Head of Communications and Product at Bee Mindful, supporting distribution strategies and defining program backlogs.

In addition, Brian has experience as a Technical Product Manager at PressTigers, a Product and Marketing Manager at Virtual Views Photography, and a Technical Writer at Inhouse Co.

Brian Washington has a diverse and extensive education history. From 2010 to 2011, they studied Intercultural Communication with a focus on International Relations and Affairs at American Jewish University. Following this, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mathematics and Science at Mira Costa College.

In 2014, Brian enrolled at California State University San Marcos and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies in 2016. Continuing their studies, they attended UC San Diego Extended Studies in 2018, where they obtained a certification in Full Stack Web Developer, specializing in Computer Programming, Specific Applications.

In 2020, Brian enrolled in a Master's program at Reichman University, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction. Additionally, in the same year, they pursued another Master's degree in HCI at milab - Media Innovation Lab.

Brian has also obtained various certifications throughout their education journey. In 2015, they received a certification as an NLP Practitioner from The Empowerment Partnership. In 2017, they completed a course on "How to Get a Job in Web3 and Blockchain" from LinkedIn. In 2020, Brian obtained an Agile Project Leadership certification from LinkedIn. In 2021, they completed a course on "Software Design: Developing Effective Requirements" from LinkedIn. In 2022, they obtained a certification in "Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)" from LinkedIn. Lastly, in 2023, Brian completed courses in "Adaptive Project Leadership" and "Becoming an Impactful and Influential Leader," both from LinkedIn.
