Yoav Shpiller

Yoav Shpiller has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Yoav began their career in 2005 as an Intelligence Officer in the IDF - Israel Defence Forces, where they served as Major until 2009. Following their military service, they worked as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University in 2012, and then as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Yoav interned as a Legal Intern at S. Horowitz & Co. Yoav then transitioned into the public sector, working as an Analyst at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from 2015 to 2016, and as a Parliamentary Advisor at the Knesset from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are employed at BloxStaking, where they started as Director of Operations in 2018 and was promoted to the role of COO in January 2020.

Yoav Shpiller has pursued a comprehensive education in the field of law and history. Starting from 2010 to 2014, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. During their time at the university, Yoav participated in a joint program focused on Law and Jewish Studies.

From 2013 to 2014, they furthered their legal education by attending Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz; however, specific information regarding their degree is unavailable.

Yoav continued their academic journey by pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from Lund University. Although the start year is not provided, it can be assumed that they completed this program in 2021.
