Saul Marchan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Saul started their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Supply Administration Specialist from 1995 to 2001. Saul then worked as an Outside Sales Representative at Cintas from 2004 to 2007. After that, they served as a Marketing Associate at Sysco from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, Saul became the President of BLU Commercial Cleaning, where they focused on enhancing facility appearances. In 2021, they co-founded Bluberry, a web platform that helps businesses scale through collaboration and optimization. Currently, Saul is a dedicated Advisory Council Member at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Chicago, advocating for policies that support veterans' well-being.
Saul Marchan attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1994 to 1999, earning a LAS degree in Spanish and Economics. In 2015, they obtained a certificate from the City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. Saul also holds additional certifications, including Certified Member (CM) from the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) obtained in December 2020, and they completed the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative - Scaling Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2019.
