Javier Fernandes

Javier Fernandes is an experienced technical leader with a strong background in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as Associate Technical Lead at Blue Alba since August 2023, Javier has previously held senior roles at SCVsoft, including Senior Lead Software Engineer and Product Lead for various IoT and educational projects. Notable achievements include leading development at BrunerHouse, NES, and OpenStudy, focusing on collaborative platforms and real-time monitoring solutions. Additionally, Javier has extensive academic experience as a professor at multiple universities, teaching advanced programming and object-oriented concepts. Previous positions include R&D Product Technical Leader at Avaya, Technical Manager at Gemalto, and Software Engineer roles at BEA Systems and FDV Solutions. Javier holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
