Edwin Beekman

Edwin Beekman has over 28 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the packaging industry. Edwin recently joined Blue Box Partners as Managing Director in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Pan European Account Director at Pregis Europe from December 2021 to October 2022. From 2012 to 2021, Edwin worked at Smurfit Kappa Group, where they held the positions of European Account Director, European Account Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager Benelux & Germany. Edwin started their career as a Sales Representative at Neckermann Reizen in 1993, before moving on to larger roles in the industry.

Edwin Beekman's education history includes completing an Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership at INSEAD in 2019-2020. In 1993, they obtained a Nima-B degree in Marketing Management from NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1991, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Mass Communication/Media Studies. In addition to their educational qualifications, Edwin Beekman has also obtained certifications in various areas, including Advanced Negotiation Skills Training and Insights Training from Scotwork and Sales Performance International, respectively, in different years.
