Nathalia D.

Nathalia D. is a GN&C Engineer at Blue Canyon Technologies, with experience in various roles at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from January 2020 to June 2023. At Cal Poly, Nathalia served as an Observatory Assistant, where installations of charged coupled devices and spectrographs were completed, and telescope optics and hardware were maintained. As a Teaching Assistant, Nathalia guided students in sensors, actuators, and controls, and also taught observational astronomy, facilitating hands-on experience with advanced telescopes. Additionally, Nathalia contributed to astrophysics research, focusing on parameterizing galaxies and AGN for NSF-funded projects, and developed educational modules for engineering courses. Nathalia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, obtained in 2023.
