Sherry Pigford

Sherry Pigford, MBA, CRM, is an experienced corporate strategy and risk management professional currently serving as Manager of Corporate Strategy and Enterprise Risk Management Consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama since July 2012. Prior to this, Sherry held various roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from June 2004 to July 2012, including Project Manager for the School of Nursing and Project Analyst for Faculty Development and Affairs. Sherry has also worked at Atherotech as a Marketing Coordinator and Customer Representative, and at Computer Sciences Corporation as an Implementation Coordinator. Early career experience includes serving as Data Manager at Children's Health System. Sherry holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a BS in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama, along with a Certified Risk Manager designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
