Javier Gomez

Javier Gomez, PMP has extensive work experience as a project manager in various companies. Javier started their career at Ameritech/SBC as a Desktop Support Specialist from 2000 to 2005. Then, they joined IBM as an EUS Desktop Support Project Manager from 2005 to 2014, where they managed large-scale projects and supervised contractors. After that, they worked at AT&T as a Senior Technical Project Manager from 2014 to 2017, focusing on infrastructure and security compliance projects. In 2017, they joined Connection as a Senior Project Manager before moving to their current position at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas. Currently, they hold the roles of Sr. Project Manager and Product Delivery Lead at Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Javier Gomez, PMP has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree from DeVry University, with a field of study in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In addition, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
