Samantha Koops

Samantha Koops has over 17 years of experience at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, currently serving as the STARS Program Manager. Samantha has held various managerial roles, including Manager of Operations for Membership Production and Member & Financial Administration, where responsibilities included organizing meetings, analyzing financial reports, conducting training, monitoring workloads, and improving quality issues. Earlier positions included roles as a Billing and Delinquency Specialist and Membership Financial Auditor, focusing on financial discrepancies and customer account management. Samantha began a career in administrative tasks at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital, and holds an MBA in Business Administration from Washburn University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Baker University.
