Emily Brannen

Emily Brannen serves as the Vice President of Digital & Service Strategy at Blue Cross NC since June 2021. Prior to this role, Emily held several influential positions at First Citizens Bank from October 2014 to May 2021, including Senior Vice President and Digital Channels Strategy Manager, as well as Senior Vice President and Alternate Delivery Channel Manager at First Citizens Bank & Trust of South Carolina from April 2012 to October 2014. Previous experience includes an Account Director role at Cyberwoven and serving as Senior Vice President, Director of IT Governance and Communication at The South Financial Group, where significant contributions to the TD Bank integration were made. Earlier career experiences also include a directorial position with the American Heart Association focused on the Midlands Heart Walk. Emily holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Trade from Clemson University.
