Emre Kandemir

Emre Kandemir is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in storage engineering and system administration. Currently serving as a Senior Storage Engineer at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since 2015, Emre plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering storage systems for the organization. Prior experience includes over a decade at Abbott Laboratories as a Senior Storage Infrastructure Specialist and Senior UNIX System Administrator, where Emre managed global storage services and supported research environments. Emre also contributed to academia as a part-time instructor at Illinois Institute of Technology and held numerous technical roles at various companies, including Tellabs, MDSI, and Ford Motor Co., focusing on UNIX systems and customer support.
