Nicole Noel

Nicole Noel, LCSW, currently serves as the Unit Manager for Behavioral Health Utilization Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since April 2024. Previously, Nicole held the role of Team Lead and Behavioral Health UM Care Coordinator at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from January 2020 to May 2024, and worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker II at Parkland Hospital between May 2015 and January 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Transition Specialist/CPS Specialist III at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from July 2007 to May 2015, focusing on Child Protective Services for children in substitute care. Nicole also worked as an Au Pair providing childcare from August 2005 to July 2007, and as a Social Service Provider/S.A.V.E Intern at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in 2006-2007, assisting families to prevent abuse and neglect. Nicole holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
