Hassan Aftab

Hassan Aftab has a strong background in finance and financial planning and analysis. Hassan is currently the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Prior to this, they worked at Avnet as the Global Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, where they were responsible for executive decision support, P&L management, strategic planning, and investment evaluations. Hassan also had a role as the Director of Finance at UnitedHealth Group, where they helped drive strategic decisions for a $40 billion segment and was accountable for achieving operating cost targets and implementing financial discipline. Hassan has also held positions at MoneyGram, where they played a key role in creating a new global corporate finance function, and U.S. Bank, where they served as a Senior Manager and Assistant Vice President in various finance roles. Throughout their career, Hassan has demonstrated their ability to drive strategic growth, implement financial controls, and provide valuable financial insights.

Hassan Aftab holds an MBA in Finance & MIS from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Hassan also has a BSB in Finance from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Certified Management Accountant from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants.
