Kathleen Bonzani

Kathleen Bonzani has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kathleen is currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Health Choice of Arizona, where they oversaw financial reporting, planning, analysis, treasury, payroll/accounts payable, audit, and performance management for AHCCCS Medicaid and Medicare. Kathleen also played a key role as a partner supporting the business leadership team and led the implementation of Oracle ERP and Workday Payroll. Before joining Health Choice of Arizona, Kathleen served as the CFO of Aetna Florida Medicaid and held various roles at Aetna, including Sr. Finance Director and Finance Director. At Aetna, they led the establishment of Aetna's Phoenix AZ Finance Shared Service Hub and drove efficiency and effectiveness into finance processes and controls. Kathleen started their career at Cigna, where they held roles such as Project Manager, Information Technology Finance - Financial Analysis Manager, Accounting Manager, Investment Accounting - Senior Financial Analyst, and Healthcare Accounting - Senior Accountant. Overall, Kathleen Bonzani possesses extensive experience in financial management and has been a valuable asset in decision support and operational business planning across different healthcare organizations.

Kathleen Bonzani earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from SUNY New Paltz. Kathleen later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Albertus Magnus College between 2010 and 2012.
