Miaja Cassidy

Miaja Cassidy serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota since June 2023. Additionally, Miaja is an Advisory Board Member at Medblob, supporting its mission to enhance public health and patient outcomes. Previously, Miaja held the position of Chief Compliance Officer and Legal and Regulatory Advisor at Cassidy Compliance and was the Chief Compliance Officer at Medtronic, where oversight of an extensive Ethics and Compliance Program was essential. Prior roles include Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at Hennepin Health System and Healthcare Compliance Officer at Target, along with a strong legal background as Associate General Counsel at both Medica and ING. Miaja possesses a Doctor of Law degree from Drake University Law School and a degree in Business, Economics, and Finance from the University of Minnesota.
