Patrick Ward

Patrick Ward has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Patrick has served as a Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resiliency at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where they oversaw the development and administration of the organization's risk management program. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Strategic Relationship Manager at the same company, responsible for maintaining effective partnerships with strategic IT vendors. Patrick also has experience as a Sr. Vendor Risk Manager at Santander Bank, N.A., where they analyzed and monitored risks associated with business operations. Additionally, Patrick Ward has worked in information assurance and vendor management roles at Viewpost and RBS Citizens Financial Group. Patrick began their career as a Military Police/SRT lead in the United States Marine Corps, where they coordinated joint force operations and tactical urban assaults.

Patrick Ward's education history includes the following:

- From 2001 to 2003, Patrick attended Southern Bible Institute and Seminary, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Theology/Theological Studies.

- Prior to that, from 1998 to 2001, Patrick studied at Southern Bible Institute and Theological University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Patrick'sfield of study was Religious Education/Computer Science.

- In 1994 and 1995, Patrick underwent military training with the USMC (United States Marine Corps). This training was focused on DOD (Department of Defense) Security and SRT (Special Reaction Team) and did not result in a degree.

Patrick has also obtained additional certifications:

- In July 2015, they obtained the Certified Third Party Risk Professional certification from Shared Assessments.

- In April 2015, Patrick received the Food Safety Manager certification from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP).
