Robert Hutchins

Robert Hutchins has extensive experience in public safety and emergency services, currently serving as a Lieutenant at Blue Grass Airport since April 2011, where responsibilities include law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency medical services. Previously, Robert held the position of Sergeant in the Department of Public Safety at the airport and served as Battalion Chief at the Scott County Fire Department for six years, retiring with twenty-two years of hazardous duty. Additional roles include Security Sector Coordinator for the 2010 World Equestrian Games and a Boiler Technician, Third Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy from 1987 to 1991, during which Robert earned the National Defense and Good Conduct Service Medals. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Administration from Midway University and certification as a Kentucky Certified Police Officer through the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training.
