Maya Gillett

Maya Gillett is an experienced policy manager and community organizer currently serving as the WA State Policy Manager and WA Coalition Organizer at BLUEGREEN ALLIANCE since March 2022. Gillett's background includes roles such as Operations & Fundraising Associate for Lorena González for Mayor, Campaign Co-Manager for Dave Paul for State Representative, and Campaign Manager for Suzanne Woodard for State Representative. Additionally, Gillett worked as a Session Legislative Aide for Senator Marko Liias and held positions with the Washington State Senate and The Washington Bus, focusing on legislative assistance and youth voter outreach, respectively. Gillett's earlier experience includes community organizing and housing advocacy with the Community Action Agency of Somerville. Gillett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Oberlin College.
