Ethan Abelev is an undergraduate researcher at the Siegelmann Lab within the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, focusing on simulations of control algorithms for robotics applications using Python. Ethan serves as a teaching assistant for EN. 553 and also works as an SHARD Electrical Engineer at Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering, where responsibilities include redeveloping a Synchronous Heart-Rate and Acceleration Recording Device. Furthermore, Ethan is a member of the BME design team, contributing to innovative solutions for lipoaspirate purification for autologous fat grafting. In addition to academic responsibilities, Ethan is a student ambassador for the Blue Key Society and serves as an electrical engineer on the data acquisitions subteam for Blue Jay Racing: Baja SAE. As a camp counselor at SigmaCamp, Ethan organizes workshops and assists in admissions. Ethan's prior experience includes serving as a visiting scholar at The Feinstein Institutes. Currently enrolled in a Biomedical Engineering program at The Johns Hopkins University, Ethan's educational journey began at George W Hewlett High School, where graduation occurred in June 2023.
