Christian Zmoelnig

Christian Zmoelnig is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, development, and innovation within the packaging industry. Since December 2021, Christian has served as Chairman of the Board at Blue Ocean Closures, alongside a similar role at Paboco - the paper bottle company since June 2018. Christian has been with ALPLA Group since April 2001, holding various positions including Director of Corporate Research, Development & Innovation, Corporate Director of Product Development and Innovations, and Director of the Technical Center. Prior experience includes a role in R&D for racket sports at Head from March 1998 to April 2001. Christian Zmoelnig holds a DI in Plastics Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben, earned between 1990 and 1997.
