Jennifer Pena-Leanos

Jennifer Pena-Leanos, MSHR, serves as the Chief People Officer at Blue Origin since April 2024. Previously, Jennifer held significant HR roles at Amazon from December 2014 to April 2024, including HR Director for Ring and Project Kuiper, and Senior HR Leader for Alexa. Prior to Amazon, Jennifer worked at McDonald's in various HR leadership positions, such as Director of Labor Relations and Global HR Manager for Technology. Jennifer also has experience in talent acquisition from HSBC and Northwestern University. Educated at Loyola University Chicago with a master's degree in Human Resources and DePaul University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Jennifer brings extensive expertise in HR strategy, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
