Sachin Shinde

Sachin Shinde is an experienced Materials and Process Engineer currently serving as Principal at BLUE ORIGIN since January 2023. Previously, at Siemens Energy from October 2017 to December 2022, Sachin held the roles of Head of Technology Lifing Methods and Tools and Engineering Manager for Life Methods and Tool, demonstrating leadership in developing life prediction methods and technologies for advanced gas turbines. Sachin's extensive background includes key positions focused on structural integrity and materials lifing, with experience in mechanical behavior analysis of super alloys at Siemens Energy and advanced engineering roles in coatings and superalloys. Sachin earned a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, along with a Bachelor of Engineering from Shivaji University. Additionally, Sachin has engaged in research as a Post Doctoral Fellow and contributed to production management early in a career that spans over two decades.
