Susan Polen

Susan Polen is an experienced professional in the food industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Blue Pacific Flavors, Inc. since December 2019. Prior to this role, Susan held multiple positions at Firmenich from 2002 to November 2019, including Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing, and Quality Manager. Additionally, Susan contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University from 2008 to 2014. Susan began their career at ConAgra Foods and Unilever Bestfoods, focusing on QA/QC, R&D, and purchasing between 1985 and 2002. Susan holds a Master of Science in Food Science from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Psychology from Purdue University.
