Otr/L Sara Kukafka

Sara Kukafka, OTR/L, is an experienced occupational therapist, currently providing services at Nassau BOCES and Island Therapies of Suffolk, LLP since October and February 2023, respectively. In addition, Sara works per diem at Northwell Health and has been with Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc. and Achieve Beyond since 2020 and 2019, respectively, focusing on Early Intervention services for children in Nassau and Suffolk County. Previous positions include providing therapy at Island Rehabilitation Associates and SCO Family of Services, where work involved supporting children with developmental disabilities. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Seton Hall University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the same institution. Early experience includes roles as a summer camp counselor and program member, facilitating activities for children and families.
