Marite Espinoza is a communications program manager at Blue Shield of California Foundation. In this role, Marite leads the coordination of projects led by the public affairs team in order to advance the mission of the Foundation to make California the healthiest state and end domestic violence.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Marite worked at University of California, San Francisco as part of a multidisciplinary research team dedicated to better understanding the needs of people living with dementia and led recruitment efforts for Spanish-speaking participants.
Marite graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Mexican-American studies from San Jose State University. She spends her free time crafting, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area.
