Namgyal Tsephel Wangdu

Namgyal Tsephel Wangdu is a senior accounting and grants associate at Blue Shield of California Foundation. In this role, he helps to lead the finance, operations, and grants team. Namgyal focuses on generating contracts, month-end closing/reporting, accounts payable, internal auditing and monthly reconciliations, preparing general ledger, maintaining accounting policies and internal control, assisting on yearly external auditing and more — all to help ensure that the Foundation's finances are organized and run smoothly each year and throughout each grant cycle.

Before joining the Foundation, Namgyal worked as an accountant at Bio-Rad, a life sciences research and clinical diagnostics firm, where he focused on monthly reporting and closing of corporate finances.

Namgyal holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with an emphasis on finance and management from California State University, East Bay.
