Ron Thompson

Ron Thompson has extensive work experience in the IT field, with a particular focus in the healthcare industry. Ron currently holds the position of VP, IT Shared Services at Blue Shield of California since January 2021. Prior to this, Ron has held various leadership roles at McKesson, including VP, HCM Solutions from April 2019 to September 2020, European Head of Enterprise Applications from January 2015 to March 2019, Vice President, Application Management from September 2011 to January 2015, and VP Development from October 2006 to September 2011. Ron has also served as a Senior Director at McKesson from November 2004 to September 2006. Throughout their career, Ron has demonstrated their ability to build strong business relationships, lead delivery teams, and implement strategic planning initiatives.
