Anthony Varchetto

Anthony Varchetto has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anthony is currently a Board Member at the Illinois Security Professionals Association, a position they have held since May 2023. In 2020, they co-founded Bank The Blue and remains actively involved. Before that, they served as the President of Blue Star Security Ltd, starting in 2009. Anthony also worked as a Task Force Officer for the Drug Enforcement Administration from June 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, they had a long career with the Chicago Police Department, starting as a Police Officer in August 2000 and rising to the rank of Police Sergeant before leaving in January 2022.

Anthony Varchetto holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Safety Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph. Anthony also attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1996 to 1999, majoring in Social Work. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including being an Illinois Licensed Private Detective and Security Contractor, a licensed Security Contractor in Indiana, and a Wisconsin Licensed Private Detective and Security Contractor.
