Duane Uchida

Duane Uchida is a seasoned professional in architecture and project management, currently serving as the Commercial Manager at Blue Stone Management since August 2018, overseeing business development and project operations in Hawaii. Uchida has extensive experience as a Director and Founder of Koa Woodcraft Hawaii from January 2008 to January 2020, as well as a Project Architect at KYA Design Group from May 2010 to August 2018, where major projects included high-profile rail transit stations in Honolulu. Additionally, Uchida held an Adjunct Professor position at Chaminade University from January 2008 to December 2013, instructing in 3-D design and CAD integration. Prior experience includes working as a Project Designer at Kober Hanssen Mitchell Architects from August 2003 to May 2010, contributing to various significant projects in Hawaii. Uchida holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has pursued professional education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
