Jonathan Nistor

Jonathan Nistor has extensive experience in various roles, starting from 2008 to the present. Jonathan began their career as an Instructor of Mathematics and Sciences at The Princeton Review in 2008. In 2007, they worked as a Graduate Instructor at Purdue University until 2015.

From 2014 to 2016, Jonathan worked at TechSource, Inc as an Independent Contractor, where they led research efforts in designing and implementing precision Gamma-ray spectrometers in high radiation environments. Jonathan also conducted a 3-year precision gamma and neutron spectroscopy experiment at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

In 2016, Jonathan became a Research Scientist at TechSource, Inc. Jonathan'srole focused on leading a research team in high-precision radiation spectroscopy and metrology using High Purity Germanium (HPGe) and semiconductor-based detectors. Jonathan conducted radiation physics research in neutron-rich and hostile environments.

In 2017, Jonathan joined Purdue University as a Visiting Scholar and continued their work in research and academia. Jonathan currently holds the role of Chief Science Officer at Blue Wave AI Labs, a position they have held since 2018. Starting from 2023, they will also take on the role of Chief Operating Officer at the company.

Jonathan Nistor has a strong background in Physics and Mathematics. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Mathematics as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Applied Physics from Purdue University. During their undergraduate studies, they also pursued a field of study in Organic & Analytical Chemistry at Northwestern University for a brief period of time. Jonathan then continued their education at Purdue University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics and subsequently completed their academic journey with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics.
