Chirag K. Bhagat

Chirag K. Bhagat, PharmD, currently serves as the Director of Field Medical Affairs & Operations at bluebird bio, a position held since September 2018. Prior roles at bluebird bio include Associate Director positions focused on Field Medical Excellence, Operations, and the East MSL Team Lead in Gene Therapy. Prior to this, Chirag K. Bhagat worked at Genoptix as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Hematology/Oncology, and previously held similar roles at Baxalta and Antares Pharma, among others. With extensive experience in Medical Affairs across various companies, Chirag K. Bhagat has a strong background in Oncology and Gene Therapy, culminating from an academic foundation with a Pharm.D. degree from the University of Michigan.
