Melissa Kinney

Melissa Kinney is a Senior Data Scientist at bluebird bio since March 2023, previously serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 2019 to March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School from July 2014 to November 2018, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2008 to June 2014. Melissa's early career involved engineering and research positions at Aspect Medical Systems, Boston University, and Barrow Neurological Institute.
