Douglas Zerr

Douglas Zerr has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Douglas started their career as a Wireless Installation Technician at Nortel Networks in 1999. In 2000, they worked as a SLAT Technician II at Williams Communications before moving on to Sunflower Broadband as an Advanced Services Technician in 2003.

From 2003 to 2009, Douglas worked at Sprint in various roles, including Network Operations Control Tech and Network Operations Technical Engineer.

Since 2009, Douglas has been with Bluebird Network, where they have held multiple positions. Douglas started as a Network Engineer and then progressed to the role of Sr. Network Engineer. In 2015, they were promoted to the position of Director of Network Engineering. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Vice President Of Engineering before being promoted to their current position as the Senior Vice President Of Engineering.

Douglas Zerr attended Colby Community College from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an Associate's degree. During the same period, they also enrolled in Northwest Kansas Technical College, where they studied Communications Technology.
