Ulrica de Fort-Menares

Ulrica de Fort-Menares has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ulrica is currently working as the VP of Product Management at BlueCat, where they are responsible for BlueCat Infrastructure Assurance (BCIA), a network/security automation solution that improves network reliability, data security, and efficiency.

Prior to BlueCat, Ulrica worked at Indeni as the VP of Product & Strategy, where they developed a multi-cloud strategy for security infrastructure operations and grew Indeni's crowd-sourced automation platform.

Ulrica also served as the VP of Product Strategy at LiveAction Next Generation Network Management Software, where they were responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of the LiveAction Application-aware Network Performance Monitoring product.

Before that, Ulrica had an extensive tenure at Cisco Systems, Inc. in various roles, including Director of Product Management, Director of Engineering, Software Development Manager, and Software Engineer. Ulrica played a key role in directing system strategies for Cisco Medianet, managing WAN and application optimization solutions, and overseeing product management for Cisco Network Performance Management solutions.

Ulrica's earlier career includes roles as a Network Engineer at Royal Bank and a Network Specialist at Canadian Pacific Railway.

Ulrica de Fort-Menares has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex. They also have a Master of Science degree in Analysis, Design & Management of Information Systems from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
